About

Children’s Closet Clothing Bank is a community-based non-profit organization serving parents and caregivers of teenagers and preteens in Northern California. The organization provides families facing financial hardship access to gently used and new, name-brand clothing at no cost. As the cost of living continues to rise, clothing expenses place a significant burden on families—particularly those with growing preteens and teenagers who quickly outgrow clothing and face increased social pressure around appearance. Many youth experience bullying or social exclusion due to inadequate or outdated clothing, which can negatively impact their confidence, mental health, and academic performance.

Children’s Closet Clothing Bank addresses this need by redistributing high-quality clothing in a dignified, welcoming environment. Our approach reduces financial strain on families, promotes sustainability through reuse, and supports the overall well-being of youth.
